SUSPECTED New People’s Army (NPA) rebels have seized four tribal leaders in the hinterlands of Davao del Norte, the military reported.

Lieutenant Colonel Eduardo Gubat, Eastern Mindanao Command (Eastmincom) spokesman, identified the victim as Datu Danilo Angcomog; Datu Laris Landakay; Datu Jovanie Angcomog; and Datu Kalumpot Dalon; all residents of Barangay San Jose, San Fernando, Bukidnon.

Gubat said the victims were seized last week at Sitio Bulo in the village of Dagohoy, Taliangod, Davao del Norte.

Gubat said the victims were to the Sitio of Bulo in the village of Dagohos to settle a “maghat” or a tribal feud when seized by suspected NPA rebels.
