WALA pa’y desisyon ang miyembro sa Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board kabahin sa duha ka petisyon nga pasakaan ang inadlaw nga suholan dinhi sa Central Visayas. Mao kini ang gibutyag sa regional director sa Department of Labor and Employment (Dole) 7 Exequiel Sarcauga.
“The Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board members cannot yet make any decision regarding the two petitions filed asking for across-the-board daily minimum wage increase in Region 7 right after the conduct of the regional public hearing,” matod ni Sarcauga kinsa mao usab ang chairman sa RTWPB.
Kini human gipahigayon ang public hearing kabahin sa petisyon karong semanaha.
Matod ni Sarcauga nga tumong sa public hearing nga masigurado nga mapaminaw ang nagkadaiyang ideya, issues ug concerns sa nagkadaiyang sektor.
“It targets to ensure broad participation of stakeholders and other parties affected by wage adjustment. It also helps generate data on the views or position of stakeholders on petitions for such move,” si Sarcauga nagkanayon.
Gikinahanglan usab sa board nga mo-schedule og deliberasyon alang sa duha ka petisyon ingon man petition papers nga ipresentar sa RTWPB.
Siya niingon nga nakadayeg siya sa mga katarungan sa pamuo ug management kay pulos makatarunganon ug husto.
Ang ila karong problema mao ang pagbalanse sa mga isyu nga makakab-ot sila og maayong sulusyon sa duha ka mga habig nga pulos husto.
Sila si Metudio L. Belarmino Jr. sa Alliance of Progressive Labor (APL) ug Arturo Baritt sa Associated Labor Unions-Trade Union Congress of the Philippines (ALU-TUCP) mao ang ni-presentar sa petisyon.
Nitanyag ang APL nga pasakaan og P145 ang minimum wage diin mamahimo na kini nga P485 nga inadlaw nga suholan.
Samtang ang ALU-TUCP nitanyag usab sa pagsaka nga P92 diin mamahimo kini nga P432 sa inadlaw nga suholan sa rehiyon.
Lakip sa mga ni-presentar sa ilang position papers ang representante sa Confederation of Philippine Exporters-Cebu; Hotels, Resorts, and Restaurants Association; Cebu City Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Philippine Retailers Association; Siquijor Chamber of Commer and Industry; Bohol Chamber of Commerce and Industry; ug Mandaue City Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Niawhag usab si Sarcauga sa kadtong sektor nga mo-file usab sa ilang position paper diin anaa sila hangtod Agusto 26 ning tuiga.
