Michael Cacnio: Philippines premiere brass sculptor features Milestones

CATCH your breath; pause for a while; embrace your moments; and don’t let them pass you by.

These moments are called Milestones and beautifully sculpted moments are presented at the Italia Restaurant and in cooperation with Charlie’s Art Gallery by Michael Cacnio, world class brass sculptor of the surrealist genre.

Michael is a son of Malabon and is a product of UP Diliman, College of Fine Arts. Starting his creative life as a painter, he found his true calling in the art of sculpting brass. In 2006, Michael Cacnio was proclaimed as one of the TOYM awardees and has been acclaimed in his more than 50 well received solo exhibits in Asia, Europe and the United States. His works are frequently featured in broadcast media and several reputable publications. In 2007, he became the first Filipino artist to be featured in the first solo exhibit in the European’s Commission headquarters in Barleymont, Brussels.
