Lazatin vows to continue ‘quality’ public service

ANGELES CITY – First District Rep. Carmelo “Tarzan” Lazatin and Angeles City Mayoralty candidate vows to carry on with his 25-year long record of providing quality public service.

“Sa loob ng 25 taon nating paninilbihan, nanatili tayong sinsero sa pagbibigay ng dekalidad na serbisyo publiko at balak pa natin itong ipagpatuloy,” Lazatin said.

If he gets re-elected as City Mayor, first on Lazatin’s agenda is the eradication of corruption in the City Government through the promotion of transparency in all transactions, especially in procurements and biddings.

Lazatin will also promote a business-friendly environment for the local economy to thrive.

“Ang mga negosyante ang nagsisilbing backbone ng ekonomiya ng siyudad at sa halip na gipitan ay kailangan natin silang suportahan para lalo pang maka-attract ng investors an gating siyudad,” said Lazatin, “Mas maraming investors, mas maraming trabaho para sa mga Angeleno”.

According to Lazatin, he is not alone in the efforts to promote good governance.

Joining him are members of his Team Lazatin slate, his son, Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr., Certified Public Accountant and lawyer, Nino Enriquez, incumbent City Councilor Bryan Matthew Nepomuceno, and veteran journalist and former City Councilor Max Sangil, collectively known as ‘LENS’.

With the help of LENS, Lazatin vows to focus on Sound Fiscal Management, Urban Poor Affairs and Health Care, Effective Solid Waste Management, Job and Livelihood Opportunities, Access to Free Education, and a Comprehensive Traffic Scheme, among other relevant issues.

A veteran politician, Lazatin is one of the ‘kingpins’ of Pampanga politics, known with his slogan ‘ditak a salita, dakal a gawa’ (less talk, more work).
