STAR Cinema, the film outfit of ABS-CBN, is set to release the movie "4 Sisters and A Wedding" for its 20th anniversary.
Top billed by Toni Gonzaga, Bea Alonzo, Shaina Magdayao and Angel Locsin, the romantic comedy movie is about family relationships, siblings who have grown together and fell apart, and unconditional love.
The movie tells the story of four sisters who will be reunited when younger brother CJ, played by actor Enchong Dee, announces his plan to marry his three-month girlfriend.
The Salazar siblings will then face the feelings and issues they have been keeping for a long time.
Toni will breathe life to Teddie, the eldest in the family who works in Spain. Bea plays Bobbie, a successful New Yorker, while Shaina (as Gabbie) and Angel (as Alex) play as a school teacher and an independent film assistant director, respectively.
Also joining them is seasoned actress Connie Reyes as the Salazar matriarch.
Directed by box-office director Cathy Garcia-Molina, "4 Sisters and A Wedding" will grace more than 100 theaters nationwide starting June 26. (Glaiza Jarloc/Sunnex)
