Get to know Iannoel

CELEBRITY status does not happen overnight. An existence that sparkles with the glitz and glam is frequently earned by blood, sweat, and tears. Like the non-showbiz career people, the stars have paid their dues and kept on polishing their skills.

The familiar faces showed up on our TV screens, movie theaters, and newspaper covers and you may not even be aware of they can be from Davao City.

After years of hiatus from event hosting and working abroad, Iannoel returned to television via ABS-CBN's CinemaOne movie last year as he took on the role of a beggar with Maxene Magalona and a Jiujitsu student for "Limang Dipang Tao," a movie directed by Eseng Cruz under the Film Development Council of the Philippines.

Aside from acting and disc jockeying, he had been hosting variety shows in Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, and HongKong.

Iannoel Aviles spent his childhood in Tibanban, Governor Generoso, Davao Oriental where his father owned a small mechanical shop and her mother served as a public teacher.

He said discipline was the hallmark of his childhood. He described his father as a strict disciplinarian, and his mother an elementary teacher imposing the religious prohibitions.

Coming from the kind of background, it pushed him to be overly motivated and to overachieve. He took every chance he could grab his hands on. He said: "Disparagement can hurt, but the important thing is to acknowledge the pain. It was painful, but I learned things the hard way. I got used to rejection early on, even back in the days when I was still studying and working part time."

But he acknowledged it, and never took it against anyone. It's an element that in life, some people will like you, some people won't.

He may have transgressed some rules. "It wasn't always laidback, but he had to survive. The progression of survival was difficult. That's something you have to accept. Also, don't be afraid to make errors. Don’t be afraid to bleed. Work hard, pray hard," he added.

I remember this event’s organizer back in our gods and goddesses days, he never stops learning. This humble person, a PR man is now a young entrepreneur and has his own company and wanted to help young children in public schools to be fully equipped with the latest innovations in education through his kind donations, not to mention his partnered website the No. 1 online shopping mall in Southeast Asia which is the Lazada.com.ph, a group-buying website which is cash cash pinoy, dealspot.com.ph to name a few. Special thanks to Joselito Plaza, Adelo Vistal and Julius Cesar Formaran.
