"Pag buntis ako sasabihin ko at ipo-post ko sa Instagram ko," the immediate reply of Kapuso primetime actress Marian Rivera when asked on pregnancy rumors.
Sun.Star and other entertainment media interviewed the actress after she received the Celebrity of the Year trophy at the recently concluded Yahoo! OMG Awards 2013.
Marian said that if she's indeed pregnant, she wouldn't hide it from the press as it's a blessing from the Lord.
"Kung buntis man ang isang tao, walang dapat itago doon e. Dapat maging proud ka pa pero ang problema hindi totoo. Aaminin ko na pinapangarap ko na mangyari yan sa buhay ko, pero hindi muna sa ngayon."
She also dismissed reports that marriage is on the card between her and long-term boyfriend Dingdong Dantes this year.
Marian said she still has a lot of showbiz commitments.
"Minsan ang sarap na mararamdaman mo na lang sa sarili mo na ready na ako, okay na ako. Mahirap yung maraming nagdidikta, maraming nagsasabi kung ano dapat ang mangyari, siguro in time."
What's important for the 28-year-old is that her relationship with Dingdong will remain strong for the years to come.
"Siguro dahil sa malaki ang respeto namin sa isa't isa, mahal namin ang isa't isa and kung magkakaroon man kami ng sarili naming trabaho, malaki ang respeto namin sa isa't isa. Work is just work lang talaga sa amin."
"Nandito kami sa industriya na ito na dapat maging matatag kami, dapat i-enjoy namin yung aming buhay and parang walang dahilan para hindi namin i-enjoy ang buhay."
Marian added that there's really no formula or secret to lasting and loving relationship. Aside from respect, she cited the couple’s give and take relationship as important factor in their partnership.
"Naniniwala kasi ako na hindi lang babae ang nagdadala ng relationship, dapat parehas kayo. Ang nangyayari sa relationship namin ni Dong, parehas naming pinagpupunan ang pagkakamali o kakulangan ng bawat isa. Kaya siguro buo kaming dalawa kasi kung walang Dingdong, wala ding Marian."
She added: "Bilang babae ano pa ba ang hihilingin ko sa isang Dingdong Dantes. Ang saya sa relationship namin na pinagdadasal namin na si God yung nasa center namin dalawa. Na kahit minsan may something, naso-solve naman lahat."
The actress was asked if she's open to doing a movie with ABS-CBN's film outfit Star Cinema, just like Dingdong.
Marian said she still has a contract with Mother Lily Monteverde's Regal Films, but she's not closing her doors for a possible collaboration.
To recall, Dingdong already did two movies with Star, namely: "Segunda Mano" in 2011 and "One More Try" the year after.
Marian then kept mum on the subject of her network contract with GMA-7.
"Bilang respeto ko sa GMA, hanggang August pa ako sa GMA at mahal ko ang GMA," she said.
But the actress confirmed that there are offers from other networks. (Sunnex)
