MABALACAT CITY -- A businessman here assailed drivers of public utility vehicles and motorcycles who ignore traffic lights along the MacArthur Highway.
Jonathan Miole, a businessman and past president of the Rotary Club of Mabalacat, said beating the red light is a big accident risk.
"Sana tukyan dala reng traffic lights lalu na reng motorbikes masyas la buntuk," Miole said
Majority of fatal accidents along the national highway involve motorbikes, according to Miole.
He urged the city traffic management unit to enforce traffic regulations and arrest erring drivers.
Miole also called on the city officials to do something about the issue.
