TARLAC CITY -- Local police accosted on Friday a Chinese national and confiscated 14.663 grams of suspected shabu along Juan Luna Street in Barangay Poblacion in this city.
Tarlac City police Chief Bayani Razalan identified the suspect as Henrich Cua, 44, single, of Sitio Valdez, Barangay San Rafael and Lot 24, Block 5 National Housing Authority, Barangay Burot.
Senior Inspector Joshua Gonzales, chief intelligence officer, said that while policemen spotted a tricycle without plate and body number in front of a computer shop.
The suspect suddenly jumped-off from the trike and ran away prompting the police to pursue him.
When Cua was cornered, officers confiscated from him 14.663 grams of white substance believed to be shabu.
Cua is now detained at Tarlac City jail facing charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
