THE DMMA College of Southern Philippines (DCSP) Mariners and the Agro-Industrial Foundation College (AIFC) Sailors remained undefeated after notching victories in their respective games last Saturday in the ongoing Davao Champions League.
The DCSP Mariners outscored the AMA Computer College Titans with a score of 68-58 in the Rizal Memorial Colleges (RMC) Gym to record their fourth victory in bracket B in the tournament presented by Phoenix Petroleum Philippines Inc. (PPPI) in partnership with the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) Region 11.
AMA, however, bounced back to win 72-67 against San Pedro College (SPC) Blue Stallions to garner a 2-2 win-loss card.
SPC, however, is still in search of a win after being shut down by the University of Mindanao (UM) Wildcats, 58-78, in the John Paul II College of Davao.
The Agro Sailors drubbed the STI Olympians, 66-52, to post three wins in bracket C.
On Sunday, the last elimination game was still being played in Almendras Davao City Recreation Gym.
The two teams leading in each bracket will face each other in a single elimination game while the four teams will advance to the crossover semi-finals on the road to the championship game with a P15,000 prize on the line. (MSR)
