Elected barangay execs in Angeles, Mabalacat proclaimed

MABALACAT CITY -- The Commission on Elections (Comelec) has proclaimed newly-elected and reelected barangay officials in this city and nearby Angeles City.

In Mabalacat City, new and former village chiefs were selected by voters including that of in Barangay Dau, where the son of Mayor Marino “Boking” Morales was defeated by Former City Councilor Oscar Aurelio.

Other proclaimed winners include Benjamine S. Pangan (former) of Atlu-Bola, Rolando D. Liwanag (new) of Bical, Crisanto T. Cunan (reelected) of Bundagul, Arnold G. Reyes (new) of Cacutud, Jaime P. Jimenez (reelected) of Calumpang, Jessie L. Duran (reelected) of Camachiles, Javier P. Taruc (former) of Dapdap, Jerry M. Tanglao (new) of Dolores, Marjorie Grace M. Sambo (new) of Duquit, Elmer Madlambayan (new) of Lakandula, Nicolas F. Manansala (new) of Mabiga, Marcos Y. Caligagan (former) of Macapagal Village, Eliser S. Lacsamana (reelected) of Mamatitang, and Angelita M. Sibal (reelected) of Mangalit.

Others are Jerry J. Dacio (new) of Marcos Village, Jose Noel A. Dimarucut (reelected) of Mawaque, Alex T. Pineda (reelected) of Paralayunan, Elmer S. Mendiola (new) of Poblacion, Manuel B. Dingal (reelected) of San Francisco, Davidson C. David (reelected) of San Joacquin, Amor G. Canlas (new) of Sapang Balen, Rizaldo S. Garcia (reelected) of Sapang Biabas, Edgar A. Halili (reelected) of Santa Ines, Enrico S. Espino (new) of Santa Maria, Jomer G. Ong (new) of Santo Rosario, and Jerry P. Magsino (new) of Tabun.

In Barangay Balibago, the biggest city of Angeles City, the village chairman – Rodelio “Tony” S. Mamac was reelected.

Barangay Malabanias, one of the Comelec areas of concern, has a new barangay chief, Rey Gueco, who defeated incumbent chairman Bada Lalic.
Other winners include Judy Susan (reelected) of Agapito Del Rosario, Jerome Costales (reelected) of Amsic, Lito Ganzon (former) of Anunas, Elmer David (new) of Capaya, Mario Bognot (new) of Claro M. Recto, Arthur Candelaria (reelected) of Cuayan, Cecille Nepomuceno (reelected) of Cutcut, Bobot Masbang (new) of Cutud, Armand Enriquez (new) of Lourdes Northwest, Arceo Mate (reelected) of Lourdes Sur Talimundok, Fred Bulaon (new) Lourdes Sur East, Jose Bagang (new) of Margot, and Eduardo Badong (reelected) of Marisol Ninoy Aquino.

Others are Cris Cortez (new) of Mining, Lydon De Luna (new) of Pampang Santo Nino, Jerry Alejandrino (former) of Pandan, Bonet Santos (reelected) of Pulungbulu, Tony Trinidad (reelected) of Pulung Cacutud, Jojo Dimapilis (reelected) of Pulung Maragul, Rey Malig (new) of Salapungan, Harry Castro (new) of San Jose, Amy Torres (new) of San Nicolas, Marino Banola (new) of Santa Teresita, Dan Nacu (new) of Santa Trinidad, Efren Dela Cruz (reelected) of Santo Cristo, Angelito Paras (former) of Santo Domingo, Bong De Guzman (reelected) of Santo Rosario, Romy Nunag (reelected) of Sapalibutad, Mario Manialung (reelected) of Sapang Bato, Alma Mercado (reelected) of Tabun, and Donald Diangzon (new) of Virgen De Los Remedios.

The winning candidates will assume office on December 1.
