TWO detainees of the Quezon City Police Department (QCPD) station 10 escaped from their detention cell on Friday morning.
QCPD Station 10 Commander Superintendent Limuel Obon identified the escapees as Celino Santos, 42, with illegal possession of firearms case and Florence Batoy, 26, who is facing robbery case.
Initial investigation showed that Santos and Batoy slipped away after destroying the detention cell's ceiling.
Five officers on duty were immediately relieved, including the jail warden, radio and investigative officers.
"Inumpisahan na naming ang manhunt operation, may tinutumbok na kaming lugar pero hindi muna naming babanggitin ang mga lugar," Obon said. (Sunnex)
