SOME 12,000 Kanegosyo Rewards Club members in Davao Region are expected to participate in the biggest discount fair in Davao City, dubbed as NCCC Kanegosyo Congress, which opens Thursday and will run until Saturday at the Kadayawan Hall of NCCC Mall of Davao.
"We are expecting around 12,000 members from all over Davao Region to join the congress," Melanie A. Bacala, NCCC Supermarket marketing manager said.
In its 15th year, the event will be participated by some 67 exhibitors which will offer exclusive discounts and great deals on product bundles.
NCCC Supermarket marketing supervisor Ivy A. Miranda, for her part, said that this year Kanegosyo will bring more exhibitors in a bid to provide their loyal customers more options and discounts.
"We bring more exhibitors this year with 67 exhibitors than last year's record at 56, so our valued customers will have more options to what products they will purchase and what discounts and deals they will avail. They also get to enjoy fabulous prizes, samplings and freebies from our business partners," she said in a text message.
Some of the new participating exhibitors in the congress are Superior Snacks, Perfetti Van Melle, Golden Nutritious Foods, Best Brand, Uy Masuy Wine Factory, Swedish Match, among others.
Kanegosyo Rewards Club members are mostly sari-sari store owners who purchase goods in bulk.
Bacala said individual members and sari-sari store owners can partake in the food samplings, hourly games and other exciting activities.
The three-day event will be opened by former Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio. She will lead the ribbon cutting along with Davao City Vice Mayor Paolo Duterte.
Adding to the new features of the congress, Kanegosyo will have a futuristic vibe combining business and pleasure through the use of high-tech machines and gadgets.
“NCCC is doing this annually to show our deepest gratitude for the loyal patronage over the years because without them NCCC will not be able to reached 37 years of success in the retail industry,” Miranda said.
