KAPUSO actress Camille Prats found new love two years after the death of husband Anthony Linsangan.
Camille recently posted a photo of her and non-showbiz boyfriend John Yambao on image-sharing application Instagram. The two celebrated their first anniversary together.
"Thank you for a fruitful and memorable year. Meeting you is definitely one of the most beautiful things life has given me. You came into my life the least I expected it, and I couldn't be any happier," Camille said.
She added, "Thank you for saving me, for being my knight in shining armor. Cheers to our first year, forever more to go. Belated happy first love."
In an interview with Camille early this year, the actress said she's ready to open her heart again to someone who is worthy her time and effort. She added that the guy should also love her only son, Nathaniel Ceasar.
"Siguro kung may darating and he's worthy of my time. Nakikita ko naman na maganda ang intensiyon niya sa akin, sincere naman siya sa akin. Siguro yung nakikita kong may future, bibigyan ko ng pagkakataon," Camille said.
On Yambao's part, he's grateful for having Camille in his life.
"To the woman who holds my heart, happy first year with you!! :) May we have endless years and happiness together for the rest of our lives. There is nothing more i will ask because you showed me the best in the world. I loved you yesterday, i love you still, I always have... I always will. Happy anniversary mahal!" he posted on his Instagram account.
To recall, Camille and Linsangan were married in a civil ceremony in Los Angeles, California on January 5, 2008 and later on in a church wedding in Makati City on March 4.
Linsangan passed away on September 23, 2011 due to nasopharyngeal cancer. (Sunnex)
