MEGA daughter KC Concepcion has decided to take a leave from show business to take a short course in professional development abroad.
The news was confirmed by the "Boy Golden" actress herself through her official Twitter account.
According to KC, after she was hospitalized for days due to pneumonia, she decided to "take a jump and do something new" for herself.
She then assured her fans and supporters that she will be back soon.
"After doing a teleserye & a movie last year, together with my new endorsements, I realized there's SO MUCH more I can still learn about this industry," the actress wrote.
KC is expected to take the said course first quarter of this year.
Meanwhile, the actress also apologized to fans who were expecting her to play the role of popular comic book character "Dyesebel."
"It's Showtime" host Anne Curtis was confirmed earlier by Dreamscape, entertainment unit of ABS-CBN, on Thursday to portray the fictional role.
Anne will share the boob tube opposite ex-boyfriend Sam Milby and "On The Job" actor Gerald Anderson. (Sunnex)
