GISIGNIT sa Bureau of Immigration (BI) ang duha ka mga "overstaying" Chinese nationals sa gihimong operasyon didto sa siyudad sa Tagum niadtong Huwebes.
Nadakpan sa operasyon mao sila si Qing Mao Lim ug iyang kapuyo nga si Yushu Chen.
Ang duruha nasignit sa operasyon nga gipangulohan ni BI alien control officer Eddie Delima.
Gitug-an ni Delima ngadto sa mga tigbalita niadtong Biyernes, "Nag-operation mi human mi nakadawat og mission order gikan sa national office. Wala nuon nila na-specify kung pila na sila ka adlaw o tuig nag-overstay sa Pilipinas."
Puno niya nga ang duha ka mga Chinese nationals way nay laing kalapasan gawas sa "overstaying".
"They have a store in Tagum City and when we checked on the status of these stores, they managed to have a permit for their store," matud ni Delima.
Ang duha nga dinakpan gipailawom na sa prosesong "deportation".
Apan samtang si Lim ug Chen gitakdang i-deport, gikanayon ni Delima nga duna silay duha ka mga anak nga nakasibat sa dihang ang ilang ahensiya milusad og operasyon.
"They have two kids a 17-year-old and an 18-year-old. We cannot launch an operation against the children of Lim and Chen since we are yet to identify their immigrant status. But once we know that the children are also overstaying, they will also be arrested," tin-aw ni Delima.
Ang opisyal sa BI nagkanayon sab nga ang duha ka mga Chinese nationals mao ang unang nadakpan karong tuiga.
"This is a stern warning to the immigrants. If they think they should extend their stay in the Philippines, then they could just go to our office and express their intention to extend their stay. They shouldn't wait for us to launch an operation against them and have them deported," dugang ni Delima. (RPSA)
