Pagasa said Agaton maintained its maximum winds of 55 kilometers per hour (kph). The weather disturbance was located 215 kilometers (km) southeast of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur or at 220 kilometers east of Davao City as of Sunday afternoon.

According to Pagasa, rain with gusty winds with moderate to rough seas will be experienced in Davao region and in the provinces of Agusan del Sur and Surigao del Sur. Northern Mindanao and the rest of Caraga will have cloudy skies with moderate to occasionally heavy rains and thunderstorms that may trigger flashfloods and landslides.

However, the rest of Mindanao will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rain showers and thunderstorms while Visayas and the regions of Cagayan Valley, Bicol and the provinces of Aurora and Quezon will be cloudy with light rain, Pagasa added.
