Global Art opens branch in BTC

IN LINE with its goal to help children improve their creativity and art skills which will benefit them in their chosen careers in the future, Global Art, the world’s number one children’s art enrichment program, opened its latest branch in the Philippines.

Global Art launched its latest facility in Cebu City in simple ceremonies at the 2nd level of Banilad Town Center last Jan. 10, 2014. According to its head instructor, Carissa Ko, “Global Art has finally come to Cebu because Cebuanos are very receptive to innovative changes in learning. Now, Cebuanos will have the opportunity to learn art designed after international standards in a holistic manner.”

Global Art started in Malaysia in 1999 and its founder, Mahair Goh, who has a vast experience in teaching and creativity, has created a revolutionary technique that aims specifically to assist each individual’s learning capability. Global Art hopes to transform the way children learn art through its award-winning internationally recognized programs. The school’s impressive performance has earned them acclaims and awards such as the “Innovation Excellence Award” given by the SME/SMI Malaysia in 2009. Mahair Goh believes “that creativity leads to innovation and that by inculcating discipline, learners will create solutions to their everyday challenges and thus elevate their thinking abilities and resourcefulness. He said that parents send their children for art lessons not because they want them to become artists one day but to equip them when they pursue their fields of endeavor someday. (EAP)
