Samsung takes 50% market share in Mindanao

WORLD’S leading brand of appliances and electronic products has introduced its innovations that promise convenience, entertainment, and new functions and designs to help families create a happy home.

Samsung showcased its new products in this city on Monday boasting of upgraded television sets, home entertainment solutions and digital appliances, which the company said would make a home a luxurious haven for entertainment, fun and relaxation.

“With its latest innovative, smart and high quality digital products line up, Samsung is once again offering a whole new home experience for the Filipino family. And through this road show, we hope to let more Filipinos know how our product can fit their everyday needs and help enhance their lifestyle”, said Lei-Lani Montemayor, Samsung product manager for washing machine.

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., which continues to inspire the world through its transformative ideas and technologies, redefining the worlds of TVs, smartphones, wearable devices, tablets, cameras, digital appliances, printers, medical equipment, network system, LED solutions, notwithstanding semiconductor, is operating in 84 countries employing 319,000 workers and with a yearly sales of about US$196 billion.

Here in the Philippines, particularly in Mindanao, Samsung prides itself of its more than 50 percent market share on television sets.

“With the innovations that Samsung is introducing to the consumers, we hope to surpass our market share in Mindanao, perhaps in the country in the near future,” said Michael B. Siojo, Brach head Samsung, Cagayan de Oro.
