SUPERBALITA 9-Ball Challenge 2010 runner-up Eljun “Ilaga” Abellana leads the way in the gruelling finals showdown of the Kiosk 8-Ball Billliard’s Sinulog 9-Ball Handicapping Tournament today at the Kiosk Billiards Hall in Osmena Blvd.
Abellana, a regular finalist in the annual Superbalita billiard tournament is joined by Allan Milan, Isagani Durens and Marvin Gentapa as the third day qualifiers.
Earlier Nelyo Tanio, Abraham Rojo and Dodong Panakan took their respective places in the final round after qualifying on the second day of competition, joining first day winners Renaldo Cabales, Rico Paragayo, Adrian Mangubat and Sean Mark Malayan.
As of press time, 32 more hopefuls are vying for the last four slots in the final day of elimination.
The winner of this tournament will go home with the P20,000 top prize, while the losing finalists will get P8,000.
