NegOcc leads medal tally

PROVINCE of Negros Occidental collected six golds, five silvers and two bronzes to take temporary lead of the 2013 Batang Pinoy National Finals in the second day of competition (as of 1 p.m.) in Bacolod City.

Quezon City is not far behind with five golds, five silvers and three bronzes while Baguio City has accumulated five gold and three silver medals for the top three spots.

Bacolod City has three golds, three silvers and 6 bronzes followed by Pangasinan's 3-5-4, Leyte Sports Academy-Smart next with three gold and two silvers.

With to golds each are Davao City (2-6-4), Cebu City (2-4-2), Dasmarinas City, Cavite (2-2-1), Malolos City (2-1-1) and Lucena City (2-1-0).

Collecting one gold each plus silvers and bronzes are General Santos City, Iligan City, Iriga, La Union Province, Lezo, Aklan, Oriental Mindoro, ParaƱaque, Province of Bohol, Province of Iloilo, City of San Jose Del Monte, San Juan City, Sta. Maria, Davao del Sur, Sta. Rosa, Laguna, Taguig City, Tanauan City, Urdaneta, Pangasinan and Zamboanga City.

A total of 52 gold medals have been awarded out of 452 at stake. Fifty-two of 452 silvers were collected while 51 bronzes out of 690 were dispensed with.
