New DHC chief vows busy year

Misa, who is serving as president for the second time, said in his acceptance speech that this year will be a "galloping year for the DHC."

"We are blessed to bring back the longest-running horse show and competition in the country that DHC has been conducting ever since," he said.

He said that DHC will celebrate its good fortune this year as they will also launch a photo exhibit to present DHC to the Davao City community.

"The photo exhibit that I am planning will feature all memorable photographs of each member in the almost 17 years of the horse club. We will collect photos from the members, showing their love for horses. We are targeting Davao Museum as the venue," he said.

He also recalled how DHC has transformed with a few members in 1997 and grew to become a community of riders who love horses.
