SUN Cellular once again raised the bar for affordable mobile plans when it unveiled on Monday its latest postpaid plan.
Postpaid Plan 599 offers a wide variety of services, including unlimited Sun calls and text with additional 400 texts to all local networks, giving a wider and longer reach to those who have friends subscribed to other networks.
The plan also includes 400 megabytes of data for internet usage as well as a choice between Samsung Galaxy J1 and Samsung Tab 3V as a freebie.
“We have decided to launch a new irresistible postpaid offer that will address the changing communications needs of the practical Pinoys today,” said Sun Cellular vice president for postpaid marketing Joel Lumanlan at a press briefing in Quezon City.
“Our vision has always been anchored at providing the practical Filipinos with value-packed offers that will give them more than what they paid for,” he added.
Philippine Long Distance Telephone Co. reported last March that its wireless units Smart and Sun Cellular continued to dominate the mobile postpaid business with a 16 percent increase in subscriber base to over 2.8 million, beating rival Globe Telecom.
The figure represents 55 percent of the total Philippine mobile postpaid market, according to PLDT. (Eugene Abillar, UST intern/Sunnex)
