DHVTSU to open satellite campus in Macabebe town

MACABEBE -- Mayor Annette Flores-Balgan said Monday that the opening of Don Honorio Ventura Technological State University (DHVTSU) satellite campus in her town was set in July this year.

"Ngayong June mag-ooperate na yung DHVTSU satellite campus namin. We might offer education courses and vocational courses. For vocational, we will have food and beverage, welding and housekeeping courses," said Balgan.

She added, "Five hectares ang laki ng campus. We have six classrooms for now, alam namin na kulang yun pero nag-uumpisa pa lang kami at katagalan dadagdagan pa namin.

Balgan is thankful to Governor Lilia Pineda for supporting her proposed project of establishing a DHVTSU satellite campus in her town.

The DHVTSU satellite campus is located in Barangay San Francisco, one of the villages not prone to flooding.
