Search is on for outstanding public servants

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- The Civil Service Commission (CSC) Regional Office in Central Luzon is now accepting nominations for the 2014 Search for Outstanding Public Officials and Employees.

The 2014 Search for Outstanding Public Officials and Employees forms part of CSC’s Honor Awards Program (HAP), and has three award categories: the Presidential Lingkod Bayan, Pag-asa and Dangal ng Bayan awards.

The Presidential Lingkod Bayan Award is given to an individual or group for remarkable contributions that has nationwide impact.

The Pag-asa Award is given to an individual or group of individuals for outstanding contributions that directly benefit more than one department of the government.

The Dangal ng Bayan Award is conferred to an individual for performance of extraordinary act or the public service and consistent demonstration of exemplary ethical behavior on the basis of his/her adherence to the Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees or Republic Act No. 6713.

The awards to be given by CSC are the highest recognition given by the government to individuals or group of individuals who have shown their dedication and commitment to public service.

Nomination forms and the requirements may be downloaded in the commission’s official website –www.csc.gov.ph.
