WEEKS after publicly announcing their rekindled romance, sweethearts Luis Manzano and Angel Locsin recently met Batangas Governor Vilma Santos-Recto, Manzano's mother, and other family members over dinner.
Manzano posted a photo of his girlfriend and the Batangas Governor on his Instagram account and wrote: "Having dinner with these two lovely ladies, the mommy and the girlfriend."
Locsin, for her part, also shared a snap of them together with Luis' younger brother Christian and stepfather Senator Ralph Rector.
She wrote: "Finally, a day off! (Half day off pero keri na) dinner with my awesome boyfriend's family. I missed them so much."
Earlier, the Star for All Seasons was quoted in news reports rating Angel nine out of 10, 10 being the highest, as a potential daughter-in-law.
The actress-turned-politician said she was happy that her son and Locsin are finally back together. She said that she admires the actress' big-heart and compassion for the victims of recent calamities.
"Isa sa mga na-appreciate ko kay Angel, na nakikita ng mga tao, ay matulungin. If there's anything na pwede niyang i-share or pwede niyang maiabot na tulong pag may kalamidad, she's always there and that's a good sign. (Pati) kung paano niya alagaan, paano niya i-respeto at bigyan ng prioridad yung tatay niya, importante yun," Vilma said in "Tapatan ni Tunying."
Santo-Recto added that if the couple decides to settle down and start a family of their own, they already have her blessing.
"Alam ko na masaya sila ngayon. Wala namang problema (kung magpakasal) kasi hindi naman ako ang makikisama. Plus the fact na hindi na bago si Angel, at least I know her. They're back at maligaya sila sa isa't isa, so we're happy for them." (Sunnex)
