DILG-3 joins ‘Synergia’ launch

PASAY CITY -- The Department of Interior and Local Government Central Luzon Office (DILG-3) headed by Director Florida Dijan over the weekend joined the launch of the “LGRC Gnosis Synergia” held at the Heritage Hotel in Pasay City.

The Local Governance Resource Center (LGRC) is a dynamic, interactive and virtual program that contributes to building the DILG as a knowledge centric organization (KCO) and builds learning communities that pursue local governance excellence through knowledge sharing and innovation. LGRC is not merely a physical facility, or library, nor is it simply a repository of knowledge products said DILG Undersecretary for Local Government Austere Panadero.

“Gnosis Synergia is Greek knowledge synergy and is one of the Academy’s event platform for knowledge exchanges. The LGRC exit conference precisely espouses the core principle of Gnosis Synergia that the sum of the whole is greater than its part---that is, if we add up the available and documented local knowledge products, we would arrive at new knowledge through localization, customization and innovation,” he said.

LGRC also promotes a culture of learning and knowledge sharing in pursuit of excellence in local governance, added Panadero.
