APALIT -- The 7th Mayor Jun D. Tetangco's (Mayor JDT's) Cup, an Inter-Barangay Basketball League, will kick-off on Friday, March 21.
The event is part of the implementation of sports development project of the Local Government Unit of Apalit under the leadership Mayor Oscar D. Tetangco.
The basketball league, which is to date on its seventh year, aims to foster camaraderie among the youth of Apalit.
It also aims to discover local talents from among the locality's youth in the field of basketball.
The event will be a two-month long basketball tournament that will highlight the local youth's talents from 12 barangays of Apalit.
The municipal government will serve as the main sponsor of the league with Mayor Tetangco as the overall chairman.
