ABS-CBN gears up for ‘The Voice Kids’

AFTER its successful first season, reality singing competition "The Voice of the Philippines" will now open its doors to aspiring kid performers.

On its official Facebook page, the show recently announced that the blind auditions started rolling again and the program returns with an upgraded "The Voice" set.

The on-ground auditions were held last month in key provinces in Visayas (Cebu, Dumaguete, Capiz), Mindanao (Cagayan de Oro, General Santos City) and in Luzon (Dagupan, Quezon, Metro Manila).

Singers Sarah Geronimo, Bamboo Mañalac and Lea Salonga will still serve as coaches while Black Eyed Peas member Apl.de.Ap (Allan Pineda) will return on the show's regular season.

"The Voice of the Philippines Kids" will be hosted by Luis Manzano and Alex Gonzaga on ABS-CBN. (Sunnex)
