CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Regional Director Florida Dijan, together with Provincial Director Myrvi Apostol-Favia, recently awarded a Performance Challenge Fund (PCF) check amounting to P1 million to the municipality of Sto. Tomas.
The check was handed over to Mayor Joselito Naguit, Vice Mayor Mark Louie Arceo and members of the Sangguniang Bayan.
The ceremony was witnessed by barangay officials and municipal employees.
Dijan congratulated all the officials and employees of the municipality.
"Sana'y ang insentibong ito ay maging inspirasyon ng bawa't opisyal at empleyado upang patuloy na maitaas ang antas ng mabuting pamamahala," said Dijan.
The PCF is awarded to local government units which display transparency and accountability in managing and handling their financial affairs.
