UPLIFTING, refreshing. The resort ballroom of Northcrest was bright with tones of pastel and guests in floral printed getups fittingly highlighted the gathering. It was the perfect prelude to summer.
Departing from its customary intimate yearly gathering, the 2014 Obrigada event was upsized to a bigger and modish celebration. “Because this is a bigger party than the past years, it just means our hearts are ever so grateful for the support that you have given through the years,” said Marga Nograles to welcome Davao’s top media personalities and special guests to the brand’s “thank you” affair.
This year’s special launch, Martish Marketing Company, the exclusive sub-distributor of Havaianas in Southern and Eastern Mindanao, included a boutique show staging the highlights of the year’s collection.
Flashing the colors of the 2014 foot fashion—in bright neon colors and the staple neutral hues— on the ramp were the style savvy women of Davao who sported their very own easy, breezy summer apparel to complement their Havaianas.
After the April showers, it’s time for the May flowers to bloom, smell it, wear it. Whatever you choose to wear to beat the hot summer spell, there will always be a perfect pair of Havaianas to make your look totally cool— in every sense of the word.
