Pino launches mascot contest

TO CELEBRATE its first year of reopening operation and to disclose its long continued program of food service to its clients at large, the management of Pino will launch a Mascot design contest to everyone with a flair for designing. The mascot will be an apt representative inanimate figure to symbolize the things that the famous restaurant stands for.

Top five finalists will get P10,000 cash/gift certificates while P50,000 worth of cash/gift certificates await the grand prize winner which will be chosen from the top five finalist through public voting from dining clients. For every purchase of food items worth P200, diners are automatically entitled to one vote.

The competition is open to all interested parties who are Filipino citizens irrespective of age, gender, educational status and religious belief as long as they conform to the following rules of the competition: only one entry is allowed for each participant; format of entries must be in full color, jpeg in high resolution, 600 dpi with entries scanned from a drawing also has to be in high resolution, 600dpi; the design must display the logo of the Original Pino’s restaurant with inherent versatility that would enable it to be applied to various media, merchandising materials, etc. All entries must be original and bears pertinent information about ownership, gender, age, occupation, residential address, contact number, e-mail address, and a 300 word explanation about the design.

All entries with corresponding requirements must be submitted on or before Sept. 30, 2014 and the announcement of the five finalists will be on October 2015 at the restaurant’s 7th year anniversary. A grand public presentation to introduce the official symbol will be held on Nov. 8, 2014.
