Seafood resto to open 2nd store

ONLY months after opening its first store, the AA Group of Companies is set to open the second Blue Post's Boiling Crabs and Shrimps tomorrow at the Lanang Business Park.

Dandy Coronel, chief operating officer (COO) of the company, said the success of its first store that gained ground so quick in Davao's affluent market pushed them to put up another store to cater to more diners who wish to feel a different kind of seafood dining experience at the restaurant.

"When you dine at Boiling Crabs, there's something with it that will keep you coming back," he said.

The new store, housed in a two-storey building with 75-seating capacity, has a floor area of 200 square meters spacious enough for diners who come in big groups.

The second floor, he said, is where the function rooms are in place for small meetings and conferences.

He said the second store boasts of a modern interior design and sports a much cozier dining atmosphere as compared to the first one.

In time for its opening, the restaurant will also launch two more dishes to add to its Dabawenyo's favorite dishes such as Fried Garlic Crab, Boiling Shrimps in Cajun Sauce, Fried Garlic Tuna, Spicy Chicken Wings, Hot and Spicy Mussels in Cajun Sauce, and Chicken Adobo.

He said the different dining concept it has brought is one of the biggest draws of the Boiling Crabs, as eating with bare hands sans the spoons, plates, and forks on a table where foods are laid out at the middle makes it more enticing for diners.

AA Group of Companies also runs the branches of Antonio's Bar and Grill and Max's branches in the city.
