Going wet and wild in Lakawon

ONE of the most memorable beach parties last summer was the Lakabash: Wet N’ Wild, held in Lakawon Island in Cadiz City last May 24 and 25.

Partygoers either booked rooms in the resort or brought their tents to camp out on the beach and enjoyed the night under the stars.

During the day, guests enjoyed an array of exciting activities, which included beach volleyball, jet skiing, wakeboarding, a beach football tournament, and even a makeshift water slide.

In the evening, Brother Tea with RjayJavier featuring artists from Wicked Tarsiers, Gadfly and Tanya Markova headlined the roster of live bands and DJs (disc jockeys) who took turns keeping the festive vibe amped up until the wee hours, capped by dazzling fireworks display.

As they bid goodbye to Summer 2014, partygoers are already planning for next year’s Wet n’ Wild party with Lakabash in mind.
