Jomari Yllana on Aiko Melendez: I’ll leave it to fate

ACTOR Jomari Yllana said he is leaving everything to fate whether or not he and estranged wife Aiko Melendez would be end up together again.

After their separation in 2003, the ex-couple stayed friends and is present in each other's lives for the sake of their only son, Andrei.

In a recent interview with Yllana, the actor said he values Melendez's support and still treats them as his family. They attend family gatherings and celebrate special occasions together.

I look at them as my family kahit ako yung hiwalay sa kanila," he said.

When asked if there is a chance to rekindle the romance, especially now that they are both single, Yllana said he is not thinking about it and will just leave everything to fate and God.

So, if we fucked up once, I'm not going to allow it again," he said.

Yllana said both of them are doing okay and close to each other.

"Steady lang, ganyan lang kami. Nagkakaintindihan bilang kilalang kilala na namin yung isa't isa. Wala siyang bago and ako ganun din."

He even treats Marthena (Melendez's daughter with model Martin Jickain) like his own. The actor said he had wanted to have a daughter for the longest time and he is happy that the young girl came into his life.

Okay na yun," he said.

Meanwhile, Yllana shared that his son is also interested in the sport of car racing and acting.

Although he prefers his son to join showbiz rather than go into the motoring world, the actor said that he and Aiko support Andrei.

On young love, Jomari shared Andrei, 16, already has crushes and as a hands-on father, he usually gives unsolicited advice.

The actor ended that Andrei and Marthena will always be his top priority. (Sunnex)
