YOUTH bowler Dianne Galendez captured the title of the Davao Tenpin Bowlers Association (Datba) weekly tenpin bowling tournament held recently at the NCCC Mall Bowling, Billiards and Bar (B3) Center lanes.
Galendez, with a handicap of 19, rolled a total of 869 pinfalls after four games (241/182/226/220), to pocket the cash prize of P900.
Ronald Martin, who had a handicap of 30, settled for the runner-up honors by hitting 851 pinfalls while Danny Usman toppled 809 pins to place third. Martin and Usman received P500 and P300, respectively.
The weekly qualifying drew 18 players.(MDC)
