THE Mumho Riders of Davao City will hold an Independence Day Ride tomorrow that will unreel at 6 a.m. from Sun City Davao, fronting Jose Maria College, going to Davao Del Norte.

Mumho Riders president Ferdie James Nervida said that the event is part of their activity in celebrating the liberty of the Philippines.

“This is our own way of rejoicing the freedom of the Filipinos and honoring our ancestors who fought for it,” Nervida said.

He said, “All riders from Davao City and neighboring areas are welcome to join.”

He also said a Mini Epic Ride will be held on June 15 from 5:30 a.m. at Panacan Bus Stop up to Pantukan in Compostela Valley Province. It is dubbed as the Leg 2 of the Independence Day Ride. It is also open especiall to elite riders who are into endurance riding.

He added interested riders joining the 150-kilometer ride need to bring their own bicycle, pump, extra tube, mini tool and water.
