Police Station 1 gets top performer award

OUT of the 10 police stations in Bacolod City, Police Station 1 headed by Senior Inspector Lanel Ree Lanado was awarded the top performing police station for the month of May in rites held at the Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) headquarters Friday.

Senior Superintendent Larry Decena, outgoing BCPO officer-in-charge, said Police Station 1 ranked number one in the over-all performance evaluation.

Police Station 2 led by Senior Insp. Jovil Sedel placed second while Police Station 8 headed by Senior Insp. Ser Ulrick Christian Gelera was ranked number three.

The award was given by Senior Supt. Alberto Supapo, deputy regional director for administration of Western Visayas Police Regional Office (PRO), who was assisted by Decena.

During the awarding ceremony, Police Station 8 was also named best in administration performance evaluation; Police Station 2, best in operation performance; and Police Station 3, best in police community relation evaluation.

The City Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operations Task Group (CAIDSOTG) led by Senior Insp. Jose Mulleta was also awarded for their recent apprehensions of drug suspects. Decena himself received a plaque of appreciation from PRO for delivering his service to the people of Bacolod and the Philippine National Police.
