Gusto sa usa ka lokal nga magbabalaod nga pabutangan og guwardiya ang mga Automated Teller Machine (ATM) nga nahimutang sa dakbayan sa Sugbo alang sa luwas ug hamugaway nga transaksyon batok sa mga dautang elemento sa komunidad.
Si Konsehal Noel Wenceslao niduso sa ordinansahon ngadto sa Committee on Laws nga nag-ulohan og “ An ordinance requiring any person operating automated teller machine within Cebu City to assign security guards/personnel in ATM sites and providing penalties for thereof” para sa unang pagbasa aron tun-an ang maong proposed ordinance.
Gipasabot ni Wenceslao nga dako og ikatabang ang presensiya sa mga security guard hilabi na panahon sa kagabhion.
“The presence of a security guard of security personnel is helpful in the prevention and deterrence of crime, thus assigning security guard or personnel in areas where ATM’s are situated would promote life and property,” tipik sa proposed ordinance ni Wenceslao.
Ang ATM usa ka electronic device nga moserbisyo sa mga kliyente sa banko pinaagi sa paghatag og kuwarta bisan kon walay mga bank teller pinaagi sa pagsuksok sa ATM card ug pagpindot sa personal identification number (PIN) diin mugawas ang kuwarta.
Naobserbahan ni Wenceslao nga adunay daghang ATM sa siyudad nga walay mga gwardiya nga nagbantay. (PAC)
