Zia Quizon supports Zsa-Zsa's newfound love

KAPAMILYA singer Zia Quizon gives her full support to mother, Divine Diva Zsa Zsa Padilla, on her blossoming romance with well-known architect Conrad Onglao.

Just like older sister Karylle, the 22-year-old said she’s all for the happiness of her mother, especially after what their family went through when Comedy King Dolphy passed away in 2012.

"I'm very happy din for her, to see somebody who is taking care of her in a cute and refreshing way. May pinagdaanan din siya recently, so I'm glad she can move on and move in positive way," she said in a Cinema News interview.

Zia also shrugged off criticisms that Zsa Zsa found love too soon.

She said the timing was just right and the whole family is starting to move forward with their respective lives.

"I guess it is still hard. Kasi kung last year hindi pa ready yung lahat, tulad ko. So, we were all waiting lang din for everyone to be able to move and say their piece," Zia said.

"I think everyone has their own time. Iba talaga sa showbiz, mabilis yung takbo ng buhay. It's hard to say but I think, for me, she (Zsa Zsa) waited long enough to be happy."

As for rumors that Zsa Zsa might get married in the near future, one of Dolphy's daughters believes it is not her mother's priority right now.

"I don't think she's think of that yet. Ayaw din niyang i-jinx yung ganun," Zia said.

Zia was also asked during the interview if she's ready to tie the knot with her non-showbiz boyfriend.

She said she's too young to settle down and start her own family.

"Wala pa naman. I feel too young pa din naman for that. Nung lumaki kami my mom was pretty clear about her experiences, she's very open and she doesn't want us to do something like that. I think medyo conservative din ako sa ganyan," Zia said. (Sunnex)
