Foreman stabbed by co-worker

A FOREMAN of Pharina East Construction was injured after he was stabbed by his co-worker at Circumferential Road, Bacolod City Saturday.

Police identified the victim as Amarlito Cuaysing, 56, of Abada Escay, Barangay Vista Alegre this city.

Senior Inspector Argel Ancheta, commander of Police Station 4, yesterday said the victim was stabbed on his back by Ramsay Baladhay, 23, of Barangay Manlucajoc, Sipalay City, Negros Occidental.

The suspect, who is at-large, stanned Cuaysing, who dismissed him from the construction site.

Ancheta said they are still conducting a follow-up operation.

Meanwhile, a public utility jeepney driver was found dead inside his rented house at Purok Sabes, Barangay Villamonte, Bacolod City Saturday.

Ancheta said at about 12:30 p.m. Thursday, the body of Alejandro Puyat, 52, of Barangay Nabatuan, Escalante City was found by his neighbor Gil Montilla, 62.

Montilla smelled foul odor from the rented house of the victim and when he checked, he saw Puyat already dead.

Ancheta said there is no foul play since there were no injuries found in the man’s body.

On June 10, the victim told to his co-drivers that he will go home early because he had a neck pain.

The daughter of Puyat told police that her father had an asthma. (MAP)
