Fastfood chain eyes 5 more branches in city

GENERAL Santos City based-fastfood chain Beestop Express is eyeing to establish five more branches in Davao City this year.

Beestop owner Charlene Coroza-Enriquez said there is enough market in the city to sustain the restaurant growth, which is catering to middle-class.

The restaurant chain is also eyeing to expand to other areas outside of the city, even in Visayas through franchising.

Kate S. Budke, Beestop marketing head, said they carefully choose and study the location because they don't want to simply open a store that will only close down later on for lack of market.

Beestop began in 2007 in Gensan. It currently has four branches: Beestop Laurel and Beestop Calumpang in General Santos City, Beestop Sta. Ana in Davao City, and Beestop Batangas. Soon they will be opening Beestop Baguio City.

Beestop is known for their Bee's Garlic Fried Chicken and other popular Pinoy dishes such as chicken inasal, fried chicken, kinilaw, sinuglaw, pork liempo, and tuna belly among others.
