DAVAOEÑO Rhowell “Burnok” Mangusong IV once again proved his dominance over Cebuano ace rider Jon-Jon Adlawan as he ruled the two top categories in the 4th Leg of the MS Motosuit Motocross Series 2014, the “First Dinagat Island Motocross Challenge held last Wednesday.
Mangusong topped the Expert Open and Pro Open Divisions, relegating Adlawan behind in both categories, to offset his absence in the Toledo City Leg, which the Cebuano ace had ruled with ease.
Back in the Lugo-Borbon leg, Mangusong and Adlawan split the titles – the Expert Division went to the Davao rider, while the Pro title went to the Cebu’s pride.
Cebuano Jubenile Abellar placed third in the Pro Open race, while Ambo Yapparcon took the third place spot in the Expert Open division competition.
Cebu’s upcoming star, BJ Pepito, continued his winning ways, topping the Mini 85cc
category race.
Veteran rider Pepo Rubi took home the Veterans A title while American rider Scott Remi finished ahead of Cebuano poster boy John Flores and Winsor Pamorca, respectively, in the Intermediate Open categoy.
