TOP Cebuano chess players are expected to compete in the Deep Blue Chess Open at SM City Consolation at 10 a.m. today.
The tournament, which will be officiated by FA Marvin Ruelan will follow a 7-Round Swiss System format with time control of 25 minutes pluse five seconds increment to finish the match.
The champion will go home with P3,000, the second placer will take the P2,000 cash prize and the third placer will pocket P1,000. The fourth to the 10th placers will go home with P300 each.
Registration fee is P150 with free snacks.
