THE first leg of Duraman Duathlon Series is all set with more than 30 runners and pedal-pushers for the road duathlon on June 29 at the New Toledo City Hall.
The event, which is hosted by Go Active Marketing and Events Inc. (Game) in cooperation with The Ranch Resort, is supposed to be held on June 15 but was moved this Sunday to draw more participants.
“As of now, there are 30 enlisted participants, this is excluding the list of athletes that registered online,” said Benjoe Gimenez of Game.
The race will have the men’s and women’s open standard distance with 10-kilometer run, 40K bike and 5K run. The men’s and women’s sprint are set at 5K run, 20K bike and 2.5K run. The sprint distance participants can choose three categories depending on what bike they prefer to use: the road/tri bike, mountain bike, and folding bike.
The registration is on-going at the Rudy Project Store in Ayala. Online registration are also accepted at sugbutriathlon.com. RSC
