ANG Department of of Interior and Local Government (DILG) pinaagi ni Secretary Mar Roxas nakigsabot kagahapon ni Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte sa maayong buhaton sa bag-ong hulga sa terorismo sa nasud, ilabina sa Mindanao.
Ila usab gihisgutan ang preemptive security measures nga gikinahanglan nga ipatuman sa lokal nga otoridad dinhi.
Ang meeting gihimo sa Marco Polo Hotel alas 5 sa hapon kagahapon, Hunyo 29.
Si Duterte unang magsulti nga si Presidente Benigno Aquino III nagpasidaan kaniya sa bag-ong hulga sa terorismo apan nagdumili pagsulti sa dugang detalye.
Samtang, si PNP spokesperson Police Chief Superintendent Reuben Theodore C. Sindac, sa usa ka pahayag, nagkompirma sa taho nga dunay hulga sa terorismo sa rehiyon, partikular sa siyudad sa Davao.
“Information received with high reliability, revealed a possible terrorist threat to the peace and security in Region 11 (Davao region), particularly in Davao City. We could not, however, divulge any further details of said reports received so as not to compromise ongoing security operations by both the PNP and the AFP in these areas,” suma ni Sindac.
Suma niya nga si Roxas nag-alerto sa tanang kapulisan sa Mindanao pinaagi sa PNP High Command nga pagkusgon ang security operations batok sa posible nga pagsud sa gikatahong grupo nga nanghulga.
“Similarly, all six Police Regional Offices in Mindanao remain on constant alert conditions to ensure their operational readiness and capabilities to respond to all possible contingencies,” suma niya. (Arianne Caryl N. Casas)
