MAKOTO and Accenture came out as winners in last Sunday’s European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP) Football Cup at the Don Bosco Technology Center (DBTC) football field.
Makoto beat 19 other squads of Cebu’s leading IT-BPO, F and B, tourism and manufacturing sectors for the Men’s Open crown and also edged out Leylam, 2-1, via shootout.
Accenture, on the other hand, snagged the Women’s Open crown with a 1-0 victory over Lear. Seven teams competed in the Women’s Open division.
The annual tournament, which followed a seven-a-side format, aimed to promote,” comradeship and camaraderie in the business sector and promotes a healthy lifestyle, providing an avenue for personal and occupational development through sports.”
