Gallery Orange inaugurates new location in Art District

A bigger location of Gallery Orange at the Art District in Brgy. Mandalagan Bacolod City was inaugurated Tuesday night by member-artists, art enthusiasts, and friends.

From its previous space, also at the Art District, Gallery Orange has transferred to Doors 9A and 10A at the second floor of the main building.

The inauguration was led by Gallery Orange owners Bong Lopue and Charlie Co, and 30 contemporary visual artists who are part of the exhibition titled “The World According to Us” that also opened on the same night.

The opening of Gallery Orange’s new location also marks its 10th year as an art center.

Since 2004, Gallery Orange has become a venue for exposures, dialogs, forums, talks, and exhibitions of Bacolod and Negrense artists.

Today, Co said, Orange has evolved into a bigger versatile space that will challenge the artists’ potentials into raising the level of artistic expression.

The new location aspires to give the artists what their craft deserves, he added.

“The World According to Us” features the works of artists Karl Aguila, Marisol Alquizar, Nunelucio Alvarado, Dennis Ascalon, Moreen Austria, Edmund Bacia, Cindy Ballesteros, Niel Benavente, Hilario Campos III, Barry Cervantes, Charlie Co, Totc Co, Guenivere Decena, Jay-R Delleva, Peter James Fantinalgo, Joe Geraldo, Karina Broce Gonzaga, Frelan Gonzaga, Jovito Hecita, Darel Javier, Holtz Javier, Raymond Legaspi, Junjun Montelibano, Manny Montelibano, Tristram Miravalles, Mikiboy Pama, Toto Tarrosa, Roderick Tijing, Susanito Sarnate, and Matt Yrad.
