A LABORER was found dead outside their house at Kasingkasingan, Barangay Cartagena, Sipalay City Thursday morning.
Police identified the victim as Vicente Tapang, 49.
Superintendent Luisito Acebuche, chief of Sipalay City Police Station, said at about 6 a.m., Tapang was found by his wife lying on the wooden cart with slash wound in his neck.
He said on Wednesday evening, the victim was heavily drunk and slept on the wooden cart outside their house.
Acebuche added they have already the identity of the suspect but he refused to release the name since the follow-up operation is still on-going.
The suspect was also tagged by the family of the victim in stealing of their farm equipment, the police said. (MAP)
