CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- In celebration of Halloween, more than a thousand runners, trained and amateur alike, joined the Monster City Fun Run Thursday evening held at the SM City Pampanga Amphitheatre.
The 5-km sprint within the mall’s perimeter plus an obstacle course inside the zombie-filled Amphitheatre was a huge success. Already on its second year, this year’s celebration of Halloween was surely one of the seasonal events the kabalens are anticipating for.
Hailed winners for the Monster City Fun Run for the male category were first placer: Michael Canlas (09:24); second placer Rolando Dizon (10:45); and third placer Ryan Chester Naranjo (11:00).
On the other hand, top finishers for the female category were first placer Janet Guarin (13:12); second placer Querobin David (14:16); and third placer Princess Aguilar (14:18).
Joining the fun run event were SM City Pampanga Assistant Mall Manager MJ Arevalo V, Marketing Manager Chie Manarang with team Juan Paolo Duya, Kriselle Cabaero, Chito Gomez and Paulo Nalus. Hosted by Public Relations Manager Rain Cervantes, the event was sponsored by Toy Kingdom, PC Square and First Pampanga Fitness Club. (Press Release)
